Damascus hunting folding knife MASTERPIECE Mizuki
Handcrafted hunting folding knife MASTERPIECE Mizuki. The knife is made of damask steel (damascene steel). The blade is made from layered steel composite forging. In this knife, there are 66 layers. This forging creates a unique pattern. Between these layers is embedded a VG10 steel core. The knife has a hardness of 60-62 HRC, which guarantees long-lasting sharpness and lifespan.
The shape of the handle ensures a comfortable and secure grip. The handle is made of Rosewood. Included in the packaging is a case made of cowhide leather, crafted with precision by hand.
Damascus steel is produced by repeated forging, layering, and re-forging several strips of steel with different properties, thus creating a characteristic pattern that can have dozens to hundreds of layers. Damascus steel is long-lasting sharp and resistant due to the grouping of materials with different properties.
The steel core is made from one of the highest-rated steels, VG-10. Highly abrasion-resistant stainless steel.
Steel V Gold 10 is generally known as VG-10 or sometimes V-Kin-10 (kin is the abbreviation for "gold" in Japanese). VG-10 is a unique formulation of steel with a high carbon content and contains chromium, vanadium, molybdenum, and cobalt. The steel is specially designed for the highest quality knives used both in the kitchen and in the field.
We recommend washing the knife immediately after use, drying it, and storing it in its place.
DO NOT PUT KNIVES IN THE DISHWASHER!!!
